That is right, we are not messing around today as we are trying to find the best 4,000-piece puzzle. Some people thought that we were crazy making a list of 3,000-piece puzzles, but we are taking things to the next level today with this one.
These types of puzzles are not for the faint of heart but are more for those that when they see danger simply say ”I laugh in the face of danger” and just carry on.
These types of puzzles that we are looking at today are for those that really do consider themselves to be masters of jigsaw puzzles and who want a serious challenge.
Putting The Pieces Together To Make This List
When we are making a list of something like Batman puzzles or Star Wars puzzles it is rather simple. We look at the puzzles and then decide which ones we think look the coolest.
With this 4,000-piece puzzle guide we are doing today, it is a little different. You see, we did search high and low, but there are not all these awesome licensed 4000-piece puzzles like you may think, they seem to top out at 2,000-piece puzzles with a few being 3,000 pieces.
We decided to look at the 4,000-piece puzzles that we felt captured your attention as soon as you saw them and would provide you with a challenge more fierce than the time the Sinister Six hooked up for the first time to take on Spider-Man!
Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
If only this were our Disney puzzle guide, we could do a bunch of awesome “under the sea” puns, but we are a bit higher-brow than that here at Geek’s Oasis, we really do think it is better down where it is wetter!
Anyway, this 4,000-piece puzzle is awesome as it has a whole bunch of bright, vibrant, and gorgeous underwater life going about their business. What we love about this is that while it is fun and challenging, it has a bit of calmness about it which will get you into a great mindset as you complete it.

Ello guvnor, welcome to London! Ok, we will admit that the main reason we wanted this puzzle to feature on our best 4,000-piece puzzle list is that we are sure we can see a few of Mysterio’s drones flying around Tower Bridge, so perhaps this could have been in our best Spider-Man puzzles list.

Yes, we have looked at world map puzzles in their own guide, but we felt this massive 4,000-piece puzzle of a classic-looking world map had to make this list.
This is something you could imagine being laid out on a table in the captain’s quarter on a huge boat in the 1800s as they try to find their way in the world!
It would look truly amazing in a frame and the design of the puzzle makes it so that finding the right spot for each of the 4,000 pieces is going to be very tricky, but also fun.

This is one of the Trefl puzzles series based around talented artists and this one here is brought to us by the very talented, Dominic Davidson. What a picture he has created here, an old guy fishing on a lake, a beautiful log cabin, and some ducks causing mischief on the water.
This is such a great image and one that is made even better by this being a 4,000-piece puzzle as they were able to make it nice and large. Each time you look at this, you feel like you are seeing a new little detail which just adds even more personality to this already amazing picture.

FAQs About 4,000-Piece Jigsaw Puzzles
With something as crazy as a 4,000-piece puzzle, it is only natural to have a question or two about a puzzle of this immense size! That is why we have put together this nifty (always love a chance to use the word “nifty” when we can) FAQ section to help you out.
Why are most of these Castorland Puzzles?
Hey, that is a completely fair question to have. While we are sure there will be other brands out there that do make 4,000-piece puzzles, we found that on the major online selling sites, Castorland Puzzles seem to be the main company that makes puzzles of this size.
As you can see from our list, a couple of others have dabbled in puzzles of this size. However, Castorland seems to be the company that makes a real effort of having a collection of jigsaw puzzles of this size.
How hard is a 4,000-piece puzzle?
You can start to imagine the difficulty level by just thinking about opening a box with 4,000 individual pieces inside! That is the size of the challenge you have in front of you when you decide to jump into the world of 4,000-piece puzzles.
These are incredibly challenging and you will certainly want to make sure you have enough space to put a puzzle like this together, even some of the puzzle tables with drawers suggestions we have for you will struggle to handle one of these.
Make no mistake about it, a puzzle with this piece count is very, very hard so be sure you have the time and the patience before starting. But hey, maybe you discover your inner puzzle Jedi master if you ever finish one of these!
Why only themes like nature, cities, and such?
Yeah, that's a good question. We tend to have some geek stuff on our posts, but this time there weren't any puzzles with our favorite themes like Star Wars, Spider-Man, Disney, or even animals out there! So this is what we have for you today... But be sure to check out our 3000-piece puzzles or 2000-piece puzzles post - you're going to love them!
One Last Thought To Make Sure You Are Ready
Just like when *Yoda warns Luke he is not ready to face Vader, we want to take a moment before we say our farewells for the day to make sure you know what you are getting into with a 4,000-piece puzzle.
Look, we do not mean to sound all doom and gloom here and these puzzles can be so much fun, plus, they can be a great boost for your mental health and give you a really fun goal to focus on too. We would just hate for someone new to jigsaw puzzles think that this would be easy and jump in here.
These puzzles are fun and for a real puzzle enthusiast, putting that final piece into a puzzle is going to give them such a rush and probably also a nod from Yoda to let you know that your training is complete and if called on, you are ready to face Darth Vader…. Or Yoda could be just giving you a nod to let you know that puzzle you made would look really sweet in a frame!
Happy puzzling guys!
