While we are looking for the best Batman Beyond action figure today we do want to start by mentioning that in other parts of the world, this series was actually called Batman of the Future when it initially aired in the late 90s and early 00s.
It is such a weird bit of trivia about this show and you may think that it is because perhaps in some countries the word “Beyond” may not translate too well. Ok, but then why in the UK where they speak English was Batman Beyond called Batman of the Future?
Enough of our ranting, let us put on our cowl and put down our Red Hood action figures that we looked at last time and try to find the best Batman Beyond action figures!
Using Gadgets From The Future To Find These Figures
We looked in the phonebook (yeah, some places still have them) to find an elderly Bruce Wayne to help us use his advanced Bat Tech to help us find the best Batman Beyond action figure.
Turns out that the old guy we spoke to was just some random Bruce Wayne and he was not too pleased with us pestering him and threw some salty language our way.
Thankfully, we do have a couple of huge Batman Beyond fans here in the Geek’s Oasis office and they worked hard to pick their favorite figures from their collections as well as a couple they hope to add.

We are starting with the one Batman Beyond action figure that we feel every Batman fan needs if they just want one figure from this series in their collection. Here we have Terry McGinnis in his awesome black suit.
We just love the way that the red bat symbol and cape pop and it really will stand out on a shelf in your collection. You also get an extra set of hands, two futuristic Batarang’s and you get a piece for the Batman Futures End build a figure too.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
In our Iron Man action figure guide, we touched on how we get a kick out of figures that glow in the dark and that is what this Batman Beyond action figure does! The glow effect is something we think is really cool and it gives the figure a ton of personality.
You also get two fire accessories that can be attached to his feet. That may sound weird, but you get a flight stand with this so you can pose it like he is gliding down to kick a bad guy in the face!

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
Here at Geek’s Oasis, as Cokes keep going missing from the fridge, we clearly have some people that are in touch with their villainous side! Heck, we have a whole Green Goblin action figure guide so you know we like our villains!
This Shriek figure is awesome and would be great if you want an eye-catching villain to go alongside your Batman Beyond action figure.
He comes with a really cool “soundwave” kind of effect that you can attach to his hand, and also a part of the Batman Futures End build-a-figure.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
We have looked at a few of these MEGO DC Heroes before such as on our recent Black Adam action figure guide and we love them.
We must admit that out of all the characters they could have done, we are kind of surprised that we got a Batman Beyond action figure in this line.
It is such a fun figure and the black and red pop thanks to the soft good they have used, and no matter if you open it up and pose it or display it on the card, it will be a great piece in your collection.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
How awesome is this Batwoman action figure? This is actually Elainna Grayson, the daughter of Dick Grayson who becomes Batwoman in this universe. This is such a great figure and of course, would go great with a Batman Beyond action figure.
This is a much more obscure character for McFarlane to have made and we are so glad that they did. In addition to the awesome Batman Beyond Batwoman action figure, you also get a display stand, a trading card, two Batarangs, and pieces for the Batman Futures End build-a-figure.

- We love how McFarlane took a gamble on this character and we feel it is action figures like this that make a collection unique and fun.
Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
As we said when we looked at the best Flash action figures, we love this smaller scaled Page Punchers series that McFarlane Toys are doing! Even at this smaller scale, the red and black of Terry’s suit pops and looks amazing.
The “gimmick” with this series of figures is that as well as the cool Batman Beyond action figure, you also get an issue of a comic book, Batman Beyond Neo Year which is a fun story for you to read!
It is also worth noting that these figures look incredible on the card so you may want to get two! One to display loose and the other on the card!

- McFarlane actually makes these figures easy to open so you could open it, look at it, read the comic book, and then seal it all up if you wanted to.
Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
We are coming back at you with some girl power once again as we look at another Batwoman action figure that is part of the Batman Beyond series. This one though has her unmasked so we can see the face of Elainna.
It is a fantastic sculpt, one of the more underrated ones from McFarlane. It makes for a very interesting-looking action figure and one that can be made more dynamic thanks to the flame effects for her boots and the way you can extend the wings of her suit.
It also comes with a collectible art card with figure photography on the front and a character biography on the back.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
No matter if it is our Wolverine action figure guide or some other action figure guide, we love to sneak a Funko Pop in and that is exactly what we have done here. There are only a handful of Funko Pop figures based on Batman Beyond.
What we love about this one is that it captures the heroic and kind of gritty nature of Terry McGinnis perfectly and with it being mainly black it is such an interesting-looking Pop figure to add to your collection.

Are there Batman of the Future branded figures?
While we feel that it would be so cool if McFarlane, Funko, MEGO, or one of the other many other DC licensees would put the Batman of the Future logo on something, even if it were a “chase” variation.
That has not happened yet, if you want merch that specifically says “Batman of the Future” instead of Batman Beyond, you will have to find merch that was released when the show was on the air.
Will there be more Batman Beyond action figures?
There were supposedly plans to make a live-action Batman Beyond movie with Michael Keaton as the older Bruce Wayne, but it got canceled.
While that sucks, as of us writing this an animated Batman Beyond movie has been announced, which will look to the Spider-Verse animated movies for inspiration so there will be more Batman Beyond action figures coming!
What is the origin story of Batman?
In the Batman Beyond universe, Bruce Wayne has retired from being Batman after his father's death. Suspecting foul play, Bruce secretly hid a bitter and broken young man inside him.
He had become just an ordinary teenager until one fateful night when his parents were mysteriously killed Bruce refuses to believe that it was just an ordinary accident. With no other option left, he made himself into the greatest crime-fighter of all time - Batman.
What does Terry McGinnis have to do with all this?
Terry McGinnis was just an ordinary teenager, with no hint of the extraordinary destiny that awaited him. His life changed after his father was mysteriously killed and he discovered something sinister was afoot.
To seek justice for his father's untimely death, Terry sought out Bruce Wayne, one of Gotham City's most iconic and powerful figures. What he found instead was a grouchy, bitter Bruce Wayne - a man who seemed unwilling or unable to take action against the injustice in his city.
Refusing to be deterred by Bruce's lack of enthusiasm, he formulates a plan. Terry steals a tricked-out Batsuit from the Batcave and learns a secret hidden for decades.
