Like most people, we love Black Panther here at Geek’s Oasis and that is why we decided to try and find the best Black Panther action figure. From the comic books, movies, video games, and of course, merch!
We are massive fans of this character and he and the other characters related to Black Panther have been represented very well in plastic form! We were as saddened as anyone over the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman and his performance as T'Challa was truly amazing.
We also feel that Marvel Studios made the right decision to have a different Black Panther leading the charge in Wakanda Forever and in our humble geeky opinion, they could not have done it any better!
Heading To Wakanda To Find The Best Figure
Thankfully, Wakanda is a bit more open to dealing with the outside world these days so putting together this list to find the best Black Panther action figure was not as hard as it could have been.
However, rather than just focusing on T'Challa, we also wanted to have a few Black Panther action figures that were not just him on our list today. They do say variety is the spice of life after all…. Who says that we are not sure, but it does make sense!

We had to start our quest for the best Black Panther action figure with this awesome MCU version of the character. This is such an awesome action figure and one that we are very surprised as not seen a huge price spike!
With this, you get an extra head so you can display it with a head that looks like Chadwick Boseman. An extra set of hands and the build-a-figure piece here is the head of Okoye.

As we write this, this is the most recent Marvel Legends Black Panther action figure. Rather than be based on his look from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we have one that is based on his various comic book appearances.
We love the all black design of this figure, he just looks so cool and menacing. Such an iconic look for the character! He also comes with an extra set of hands and the leg piece for the build a figure which is Attuma.

We recently looked at the best Star Wars Retro Collection figures and talked about how we loved the retro style. Well, this Black Panther action figure is from the retro series from Hasbro’s Marvel Legends.
We just love the old-school style here from the Kenner logo on the packaging to the 3 ¾ scale of the figure. It looks like something that you would have gotten back in the 80s and that is awesome!

Many of us wondered what they would do in Black Panther Wakanda Forever after the passing of Chadwick Boseman. Well, his sister Shuri became the Black Panther and she was so badass!
She really nailed the role and did a wonderful job. Hasbro has captured her in her costume here really well and the gold designs on the costume truly do make this very eye-catching.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
We bet that there are a few of you who have never even heard of this line! While Marvel Legends are the go-to for most people. Hasbro has actually done a great job of making lower-priced action figures that feel more in line with toys that would have come out in the 90s to tie into a movie.
This figure is really fun, it comes with a cool vibranium spear. Premium articulation and accessories allow this Black Panther figure to take some action-ready poses!
However, we just love the packaging of this figure, we feel that this is one figure that gets a lot of its personality from the packaging so it is perfect if you are a mint-on-card collector.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
How badass was Killmonger? Many fans felt that Marvel made a huge mistake killing him off in that first Black Panther movie. This awesome action figure is part of the Legacy Collection for the first Black Panther movie and we felt that it had to be on our Black Panther action figure list.
It comes with two heads, one with the mask and one with a fantastic sculpt of Michael B Jordan which we feel is one of the best sculpts in the entire Marvel Legends line!
Extra hands and two weapons that he looks awesome displayed with are also included! Use the included accessories to recreate your favorite MCU moments! We had fun with our Green Goblin action figure guide so we wanted a villain on here!

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
Next up we have another adversary, but this time it is the mutant who went toe to toe with Shuri, Namor! We loved the way they handled Namor in Wakanda Forever and think that this is one of the best figures in this set!
He comes with his staff, some extra hands, and the left arm for the Attuma to build a figure. He was such a huge part of the movie and will probably be a huge part of the MCU going forward that we felt if we had the Shuri figure on here, we really needed to have this badass Namor figure as well.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
You may be getting a sense of Deja Vue here, but this Marvel Legends Retro Black Panther action figure is a bit different from the one we just looked at. To start with, he comes with Captain American who is on his own retro style carding!
The carding for this Black Panther is green and yellow instead of the red and black of the single release. Plus, both Cap and Black Panther have a special Number 1 Release on their boxes as these were a special release for Hasbro Pulse when this retro Marvel Legends line started.
This is kind of similar to the Boba Fett action figure guide we did as Hasbro had a two pack of retro figures there too!

Why are some Marvel Legends so expensive?
Marvel Legends are a very interesting line! You see, some come and stick around for ages, having to be cleared. It is similar to what we said in our Brock Lesnar action figure guide!
However, others can go for an insane amount of money on the secondary market. This can be for several reasons, Hasbro can sometimes struggle with distribution, meaning that the figure was hard to find when it was first released.
Sometimes the price is high because it was exclusive. Also, characters like Black Panther are very popular so everyone wants one in their collection! However, the good news is that as this is such a popular character, he will get many, many re-releases so be patient!
Comic book or movie?
Some people love to just collect Marvel action figures no matter what they are based on. However, as we have seen in our quest to find the best marvel studios Black Panther action figure, some characters' looks can be drastically different depending on which version you go for.
If you have a collection dedicated to the MCU, go for an MCU Black Panther figure. If there are none easily available, as we said, be patient, more will come!
However, if you just want some representation of the character in your collection, a comic book based Black Panther would be cool.
