We love Star Wars here at Geek’s Oasis and we are taking on the epic task of finding the best Boba Fett action figure!
From his debut in the Star Wars Christmas Special to his very own series on Disney Plus, The Book of Boba Fett, he has been one of the most popular Star Wars characters around.
Even in our best Star Wars puzzle guide, he was featured multiple times. The original Boba Fett which was released as a mail-away for the original Kenner Star Wars line in the early 80s is the stuff of legend.
It was supposed to come with a rocket-firing backpack, but due to safety concerns, this mechanism was taken out and now the prototypes of that figure go for insane amounts of money!
Do not worry, there are still plenty of Boba Fett action figures to choose from.
Hiring A Bounty Hunter To Make The List
As you can see from The Book of Boba Fett, Boba Fett is a bit more chilled out these days so we did not put in a call to hire him to make this Boba Fett action figure list.
Instead, we got together in the Geek’s Oasis breakroom and came up with what we feel are the coolest and best Boba Fett action figures available, ones that we would proudly put on display (and in many cases, we actually have!) our own collections.

This Boba Fett action figure is really cool as it has the classic Kenner-themed packaging and looks like a figure that would have been released when The Empire Strikes Back was.
However, this is a fully modern action figure, with modern sculpting, and modern articulation, it is basically a Black Series figures that has been shrunken down into the classic Star Wars scale.

Say what you will about The Book of Boba Fett, but he was awesome in The Mandalorian. Here we have a figure from the Star Wars Retro Collection - so what we have here is a Boba Fett action figure based on how he looked in that show.
While this is a brand new sculpt for Boba Fett, this figure thanks to being from The Retro Collection is in the same scale and style as the original Kenner figures.

Next up we have a really cool 2-pack! This is from the Star Wars Retro Collection and it contains a figure of Boba Fett and another bounty hunter, Bossk.
They come on that retro carding which is awesome, but they also come packaged in their own larger outer box too.
These figures look just the same as the ones that were released when The Empire Strikes Back was released and that is awesome! We love The Empire Strikes Back and have some awesome Star Wars 2000-piece puzzles that feature that movie!

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
The image of Boba Fett sitting on the throne (Jabba’s throne, not the toilet!) in The Book of Boba Fett is one of the most iconic images from the show, well not as iconic as Boba Fett riding on a Rancor, but it was still cool.
This is a very cool addition to the Star Wars Black Series. You get a fantastic Boba Fett figure with an amazing facial sculpt of actor, Temuera Morrison! It also comes with some great accessories too meaning you can pose this in many cool ways.

- With the sculpt being so great on the face of Temuera Morrison, this would look awesome displayed holding the helmet as well as wearing it.
Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
If you have been looking for Boba Fett action figures based on his look from Return of the Jedi, this one here is perfect. We love how his body armor and helmet are all dirty and damaged here.
This is a Boba Fett that has clearly been in a great deal of biggest battles during his bounty hunter career. Of course, we all know how things ended for him in Return of the Jedi, but this action figure is still cool to have on display.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
While the Star Wars Droids animated series was not exactly great stuff, the action figures based on that show (along with the Ewoks animated series) are some of the rarest Star Wars figures with exquisite features that you can buy.
We think it is awesome that Hasbro has made a series of action figures based on The Droids series. This one here looks so different from every other Boba Fett action figure as it has a more animated series look!
It is worth noting that there is also a tremendous Black Series Star Wars Vintage Collection figure based on this version of Boba Fett too.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
Boba Fett had a rough time getting out of that Sarlacc Pitt that is for sure, but this awesome figure is based on what he was doing between Return of the Jedi and The Mandalorian. Gone is his iconic body armor and helmet.
Here we have him in a cloak and with a weapon that he got from The Sand People. It is a very cool and interesting looking figure that is for sure and it also has that fantastic sculpt for actor, Temuera Morrison.

Why are there so many Boba Fett figures?
Boba Fett is one of the biggest sellers when it comes to Star Wars merchandise, that is why he is so well represented by Hasbro and pretty much anyone else that has the Star Wars license.
His stuff sells and sells very well, so there will never be a time when there is a shortage of Boba Fett figures!
What is the difference between the Vintage and Retro Collection?
Even though as of writing we are four series into the Star Wars Retro Collection and about a million into the Star Wars Vintage Collection. There is still some confusion about the two lines.
The Retro Collection are action figures that are designed to go with the original Kenner Star Wars figures first released in the late 70s, some even use the same sculpts!
The Star Wars Vintage Collection figures are much more detailed modern figures, but they are on the same kind of retro carding.
