Today we are having some fun looking for the best Broly action figure! When the movie, Dragon Ball Super: Broly was released in 2018, fans lost their minds over this epic new design for Broly, but the one from Dragon Ball Z is pretty cool too.
We have looked at many superheroes here at Geek’s Oasis, even some pretty overly muscular characters such as in our Black Adam action figure guide!
However, this re-design that they did of Broly is on a whole new level as he has muscles in places most people do not have places. He is the perfect character to base an action figure on and thankfully there are a ton of them to choose from.
Picking The Best Of The Best
We were all set! When we decided that we were going to try and find the best Broly action figure we put a plan in place.
We pulled out the old atlas that was covered in dust and decided to send different members of the Geek’s Oasis team to all corners of the globe to try and find the seven Dragon Balls so that we could summon Shenron so that he could tell us what the best Broly action figures were!
Thankfully, someone pointed out we could just look at our own collections and online, and we decided that was the safest way to put this list together!

The Dragon Ball Dragon Stars series is awesome, if you look at our Captain America action figure guide we talk about Marvel Legends a lot, this is basically the Marvel Legends line for Dragon Ball!
This is the Super Saiyan Broly figure from Dragon Ball Super and he looks awesome. For this price, you are getting a big, chunky, and awesomely sculpted figure. This really is one of the best figures in this entire line and a must-have for a Dragon Ball collection.

We got such a kick out of the Dragon Ball Evolve line! These give us major 90s and 00s vibes and these are action figures that are more aimed at those looking for something more “toy-like”.
Even at this affordable price, you are getting a tremendous Super Saiyan Broly action figure here. He is going to look awesome on display and he can be posed in some cool ways. We also love the packaging of this series so this would look great if you kept it on the card too.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
Not only do we have an awesome Broly action figure, but we also have a tremendous Goku figure too as this is a badass 2-pack. The Broly here is in a different color scheme than the one we looked at earlier.
He is just as physically imposing and we actually think the red and white pants he is wearing look cool. The Goku figure here is really cool as he is battle-damaged as his pants are all ripped. You also get extra hands for each figure and a cool battle effect too!

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
As you may know from our Street Fighter action figure guide, we are huge fans of the work of S.H.Figuarts.
They have been making Dragon Ball action figures for years and their Super Saiyan Broly action figure is one of the best that they have to offer. This is one of the more sinister and dangerous-looking Broly action figures!
Not only do they give you extra hands with this, but you also get extra facial expressions too. Thanks to S.H.Figuarts' awesome articulation it lets you get very creative with displaying it.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
Ok, so this is more of a Broly sculpture than a Broly action figure, but we had to put this on our list. This is part of the Banpresto World Figure Colosseum and the sculptor here could not have captured Broly any better than they did!
We are as guilty here at Geek’s Oasis as anyone of overusing the term “epic”, however, that is the only word we can use to describe this. This is going to be such an eye-catching piece in your collection and it truly does showcase the immense power that Broly has!

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
Next up we have the largest Broly action figure on our list today! We love this Limit Breaker series from Bandai.
It is all about larger action figures which look amazing on display for an adult collector, but they are also a ton of fun for kids to smash together as well.
This is a nice and bright action figure that captures Broly very well, as this is Broly, it is one of the larger, thicker, and more impressive figures in this series.

- If you want a massive action figure, when it comes to Broly action figures, you do not get much more massive than this!

If you want a Broly action figure that is truly going to be a showcase piece in your collection, this is it! We love what BOD Studio has done here!
You get Broly in full Super Saiyan transformation and while the actual figure looks great. It is the base and the fire effect behind this that makes this something that will well and truly pop off your shelf.
It is such a fun figure and perfect if you want a Broly that looks like he is about to kick the butt of every other figure in your collection.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
We fell in love with the Chibi Masters line from Bandai Namco as soon as we saw it. This line features some of anime’s biggest characters, but in a cuter “chibi” style that is a lot of fun.
The funny thing about this Broly action figure is that even though it is part of the Chibi Masters line, Broly still manages to look badass and imposing, even when he is supposed to be cute and charming! This is a fun series that is very addictive to collect!

- As well as other Dragon Ball Super characters, the Chibi Masters line also features other anime such as Naruto and Demon Slayer.
Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
Last, but by no means least we have another cool Broly action figure that is actually more of a statue, but we love the whole Great Ape thing from Dragon Ball lore and Broly certainly has one of the most awesome Great Ape designs from the series.
The sculpting and paintwork here are amazing and it certainly captures Broly looking mad as hell and about to cause some serious damage like we all know that he can do.
They also make a couple of other Great Ape Dragon Ball statues and as these are very reasonably priced, you can build a cool collection at an affordable price.

Want to know how to go Super Saiyan? Well, Master Roshi made us promise not to reveal those secrets sorry. However, we can help you when it comes to Broly action figures.
What about an older Broly design?
There have been Broly action figures made on his previous pre, Dragon Ball Super Broly movie design. However, this current design of Broly is the way things are for the foreseeable future.
This means if you do want an older design of Broly, you will have to hope that one gets made in the Dragon Ball Dragon Stars line as a throwback or get an older action figure.
What style of Broly action figure should I buy?
There are Broly action figures and statues made by so many companies and in all different scales too! If you want a more in-scale collection when it comes to Dragon Ball, the best way to achieve this is to just stick with one line.
Currently, the Dragon Ball Dragon Stars or the Dragon Ball Evolve lines are the easiest and most affordable way to build a Dragon Ball action figure collection.
Don’t Go Super Saiyan Just Yet!
We certainly have had a lot of fun looking at all these Broly action figures with you today and must admit that it is hard to pick what is the overall best Broly action figure!
At the end of the day, we would suggest you go for not just the figure you like best, but think about which one of these figures is going to fit into your collection best. For example, if you already have a Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, or whoever figures from the Dragon Stars line, Dragon Stars is the way to go as it will fit in great.
While one Dragon Ball action figure such as Broly can look great, this series features such a diverse and interesting set of characters, a collection of them is always going to look amazing.
