It Was Easier To Find Cap In The Ice!
Hey, that may be a cute title and a nod to Captain America being frozen in ice for many years. However, trying to pick the best Captain America action figure was tough as there are so many!
He is certainly a core character and he is easily up there in the top ten characters when it comes to Marvel Legends action figures. Speaking of which, most of our list today is made up of Marvel Legends and the crazy thing is, there are a ton more that could have potentially made this list!

You cannot have a list looking for the best Captain America action figure without having the bearded, grizzled Cap from Infinity War on it! We love the darker shades used on this suit and the two vibranium shields that he has are very cool.
This comes with an extra set of hands and an extra, meaner-looking head sculpt featuring premium detail. We feel that Hasbro captured the likeness of Chris Evans very well with this figure!

This Ultimate Captain America character figure is one of the newer Captain America action figures we have on this list. This is cool as it shows that Hasbro is willing to not just make MCU-inspired Cap figures.
This figure is inspired by the classic character's appearance in Ultimate universe (comics) and it is one of the more heroic-looking figures on our list today. The bright red, white, and blue paint that have used makes this figure pop and he looks so badass when posed with his hands on his hips!

We have looked at a few of these smaller retro Marvel Legends figures such as the awesome Wolverine one in our Wolverine action figure guide. This one is a lot of fun and just how you would imagine Kenner would have made a Captain America action figure back in the 1980s!

What a great 2-pack this set is! It is based on the Captain America: The First Avenger movie and we get a fantastic-looking Captain America action figure that is so different from all the rest. Rather than being in his traditional red, white, and blue design, this Cap is wearing his World War II-era army gear!
Also included is a tremendous Peggy Carter action figure! As well as the two figures, this set is packed with cool extras, a non-round Captain America shield is the highlight. You also get a helmet, a silver Cap shield, an extra Steve Rogers head, and a bunch of weapons too!

We have a few people in the Geek’s Oasis office that got really into The Avengers video game and thought it was awesome how Hasbro made so many figures based on it.
This is one of the darker-looking Captain America action figures as it is based on a particular costume from the game that is not his traditional bright red, white, and blue.
With this, you also get a very cool-looking shield as well. We love the packaging of the Gameverse line as the white makes it stand out from the traditional black packaging Marvel Legends usually come in.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
We have plenty of Steve Rogers on this list, we have even had Sam Wilson, but now we are looking at John Walker! Before he was US Agent, John Walker was handpicked to be the next Captain America.
As we all know that did not go very well, but we still think it is awesome Hasbro made this figure. Based on his look from The Falcon & The Winter Soldier, this comes with a masked and unmasked head sculpt, that captures the likeness of Wyatt Russell really well.
The packaging for this figure is epic, arguably the best packaging of any figure in the Marvel Legends line!

Hey, this is a real personal question here - you could ask five people in the Geek’s Oasis what their favorite Captain America costume is and you could end up with five different answers.
We all have a Cap look that we think is the best so just go for whatever one that you feel captures Captain America best. If you like bearded, grizzled Wakanda Cap best, go for it! If you prefer a more comic book-looking Cap, add that instead.
Should I display my Captain America action figure loose or on the card?
Some people like to open up and pose their action figures and some people like to keep them on the card. Both are completely acceptable and we say you do you! However, we do feel that some figures look better on card than others.
We know that some Marvel Legends when they have heads and a random arm or some build-a-figure piece can look rather awkward when on display.
However, other figures like the retro-inspired ones are clearly done with being kept on the card in mind. These days, Hasbro makes it easy for you, as we said in our Miles Morales figure guide, Hasbro are moving towards plastic-free packaging!
