We love collecting Funko Pops here at Geek’s Oasis and we have some real serious Funko Pop chase collectors in the office. We recently looked at the best Cuphead Funko Pop figures, but today there are no limitations!
One of the things that we love most of all about Funko is how you can have a collection of all different franchises, but they all kind of go together.
You can have Darth Vader next to Mickey Mouse next to LeBron James next to Prince Charles next to Tommy Pickles from Rugrats and because of the similar style, it would look so fun!
Today we are looking at some of the best Funko Pop chase figures that you can add to your collection right now!
What Made These Chase Figures So Great!
Look, we will level with you, most Funko Pop chase figures come and go, only to be found on the secondary market, some for crazy prices.
That meant we had to get pretty creative with our list today and it also sadly meant we were limited by what we could pick as we did not want to tease you with an epic-looking Funko Pop chase figure, get you excited to add it to your collection, only to find out it was sold out and if you wanted it, you would have to pay way over the RRP for it on the secondary market.
That is why as of us writing this in March 2023, all of the Pops we listed were available for purchase without a massive markup!

Dr. Strange and The Multiverse of Madness was such a fun and crazy movie and Funko made a ton of Pops for it!
The base Dr. Strange figure is great, but this Funko Pop Chase figure version has him in his astral form which makes it such a striking figure and one that will really stand out in your collection. We particularly love the way the blue and the white pops on his Cloak of Levitation.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
Now, this is freaking hilarious! Taken from one of the most iconic episodes from season seven, this Mr. Burns is all drugged up after one of his treatments to prolong his life.
The difference between this Funko Pop Chase, version of this figure is that it is bright green and it looks so cool! It makes for such a great display piece and is perfect if you want a Pop that is going to be a showcase piece in your collection.

We did a whole guide on the best Batman Funko Pops, but now we have one of the best Funko Pop chase figures from the entire Batman line!
Taken from the 1989 Batman movie, this is Jack Nicholson as The Joker and what makes this Chase stand out from the regular release is that his makeup is starting to run off! It makes this Joker look far more menacing and it captures a specific scene from the movie too which is cool.

The Mech Strike series from Marvel in both toy and comic book form has been a ton of fun and we are surprised and happy that Funko has made so many of them.
This awesome Spider-Man is one of the best mechs as it is like a souped-up version of the Iron-Spider suit! What makes this a Funko Pop Chase figure and stand out from the original release is that this one has a glow to it which is a very cool effect.

Yes, we already looked at the best Stranger Things action figures, but we are huge fans of the show here at Geek’s Oasis, and we knew this Demogorgon Funko Pop Chase figure had to make our list.
The Demogorgon is one of the most awesome monsters to appear on TV over the last decade! This chase version is actually a very different figure from the base version and the head is completely different, his mouth is closed on this one and it somehow makes it more disturbing.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
We know that there are a ton of Mandalorian Funko Pops out there, but this Bo-Katan Kryze Funko Pop Chase figure is so different from the regular release, we had to include it, plus we love Katee Sackhoff, she is such a badass!
Anyway, this Pop has her without her mask on, and even in this Funko Pop style, Funko has somehow managed to make this resemble the likeness of Katee Sackhoff which we got a huge kick out of.

Funko made a few different Killmonger Pop’s, but we love this Funko Pop Chase version and it perhaps should have been featured on our Black Panther action figure guide!
Even though this one does not showcase that awesome Michael B Jordan face, it instead has him in his classic mask! This along with the camo pants and his spear and sword make this such a cool and imposing-looking figure!

Ok, so this is not a Funko Pop Chase figure, but we do feel this is something that anyone who collects Chase Pop figures needs to have. These Pop Protector Cases are a simple and affordable way for someone to protect their rarer Funko Pop chase figures.
If you do have a few chases, you want to keep those boxes in the best condition possible and this is an easy and very reasonably priced way for you to do it.

If you want to give that special Funko Pop Chase figure in your collection even more protection then one of EkoTek’s acrylic cases is the way to go. These are much stronger and sturdier cases that have a little sliding front so you can easily take them in and out of the box.
These are more expensive, but if you do have a very special Pop that you want to ensure stays in top condition, this is the best way you can do that. Plus, these do make a Pop look even more fancy and collectible!

We are huge Funko Pop fans ourselves here at Geek’s Oasis so we wanted to give you an extra helping hand with this FAQ to make adding a new chase Funko Pop to your collection a bit easier.
Can I open it?
At the end of the day, it is up to you, but for many people who collect Funko Pop chase figures, having the figure mint in a box with that chase sticker on the packaging is what it is all about.
Funko Pops are easy to open and then put back in the box so you could always do that. However, if you then decided to sell your Funko Pop chase figure, you would have to disclose that it has been opened which will affect the value.
Do chase Funko Pops ever drop in price?
The world of Funko Pop collecting sure is crazy! There are some Funko Pop figures, even chase ones that will hang around forever and have to be clearanced out to the point where they are nearly worthless when it comes to their monetary value.
However, there are some Funko Pop chase figures that are very, very collectible and are super hard to come by. If you see one out in the wild and you are just the slightest bit interested in it, pick it up! Chances are it will not be there long!
What is a Funko Pop Chase figure and why is it special?
Well, a Chase figure is a rare and exclusive version of the Funko Pop figures. A Chase version of this stylized vinyl figure comes in a window display box and features a unique design that makes them stand out from the regular vinyl figures. As well as with regular Pop figures, you can easily remove the figure from the box and put it back which is nice if you're a collector.
What makes a Chase figure different from regular Pop figures is that it is an exclusive Pop that is only available in limited quantities. The Chase vinyl figure measures the same as a regular Funko Pop, but it often has special design elements and features such as a glow-in-the-dark or bleach.
There's another type of limited edition called exclusive, but they're not Chase editions and thus don't have the Chase sticker. Exclusive Pops are often sold at specific events or retailers. An example of this is the AAA Anime series.
Who are some popular characters that have been made into Funko Pop Chase vinyl figures?
Almost anything you can imagine is turned into a Pop figure! Some of the popular characters include Batman, Harry Potter, Stranger Things, and Spider-Man just to mention a few.
Fans of these franchises are always on the lookout for Chase variants of their favorite characters since those are rare and not every collector is going to have them.
How can I get a chase Pop?
The chase variants are sometimes sold out very quickly, so first of all you need to be fast. Or another alternative is to get lucky! You can buy a mystery box that includes 6 random Funko Pops of which one is a chase!
The current price of this box (April 2023) is around $40, but the regular price is actually almost $50. Even the regular price is quite reasonable, but of course, you might get figures that you already have.
Why Don’t You Pop In This Box Before You Go?
When we look at action figures here at Geek’s Oasis such as our Star Wars Black Series Luke Skywalker guide that we did, we always try to focus on the fun side of collecting and steer away from looking at monetary value and reselling. However, with Funko Pop chase figures, we feel that is part of the appeal.
Knowing that you have something rare, something that is worth more than you paid for it! We would advise that you try to not get too hung up on that and just have fun with your collectibles at the end of the day, you cannot spell Funko without Fun... even if you have just dropped 100 bucks on that Chase Grogu Pop!
