We have some huge Mortal Kombat fans here in the Geek’s Oasis office so this search for the best Mortal Kombat action figures got pretty heated. Fireballs, spears, and ice were all thrown by people claiming that they know what the best MK action figure is!

We have looked at all kinds of action figures before such as the recent Deadpool action figure guide we did. Deadpool loves to fight and cause mayhem, but no characters or fighting game series causes more mayhem and blood loss than Mortal Kombat!

We've been working hard to find the coolest products for you that will make your life easier and more fun. Each product has been independently selected by our editors. Geek's Oasis may collect a share of sales from the links on this page if you decide to buy something - that's how we stay in business. Clicking the links will not add any cost to you. Hope you enjoy this post!

Did We Travel To Outworld To Find These Figures?

We love putting together these action figure guides, but in all honesty, narrowing down what the best Mortal Kombat action figures are was one of the trickiest ones we have had to do yet!

McFarlane Toys currently have the license to make Mortal Kombat figures and we certainly have a few of them on this list. However, other companies also have the rights to make Mortal Kombat action figures so we have made sure to include a few of them as well to give you more variety.

It is kind of like when Midway went from there just being one fatality to characters having a whole bunch of finishing moves!

💡
In the original Mortal Kombat, each character only had one fatality/finishing move. However, starting with Mortal Kombat II each character would have two fatalities as well as a friendship and a babality! Even now in the modern games, the number of finishing moves has been expanded greatly.

McFarlane Toys Mortal Kombat 11 Shao Kahn

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

We are starting with the big bad of the Mortal Kombat universe, Shao Khan. What makes this one of the best Mortal Kombat action figures is that this is specifically based on Platinum Skin from Mortal Kombat 11.

Shao Khan looks as imposing as ever here, but he has that extra bling thanks to the chrome effect that his armor has. He is not just here to look pretty, he also has his sledgehammer to cave some skulls in too!

Good To Know

  • Scale: 7 inches
  • Series: McFarlane Toys Mortal Kombat 11
  • This is such a great representation of Shao Khan it showcases his theatrical appearance and his brutality perfectly!

Funko Pop Mortal Kombat X Lui Kang

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

Funko has done an amazing job with the Mortal Kombat license and it was hard to decide which one was the right Mortal Kombat action figure to include here. We thought that Mortal Kombat X was such an awesome game, we wanted it represented on this list.

We love this design of Lui Kang and his whole story arc in this last Mortal Kombat trilogy has been incredible and it is so much fun to have it in Funko Pop form, he also has a pretty badass dynamic pose!

💡
Funko makes Pop figures based on classic arcade games, recent video games, and even the Mortal Kombat movies too.

Good To Know

  • Scale: 4 inch
  • Series: Funko Pop Games: Mortal Kombat X (252)
  • The whole line of MKX Funko Pop figures is awesome and this would be a great place to start your collection.

Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat Classic Scorpion

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

Look, we know that the Mortal Kombat action figures from Storm Collectibles are very expensive, but wow are these awesome! This one is from their MK11 series, but the costume he is wearing is based on his iconic look from Mortal Kombat 1.

This looks so awesome when you display it, it comes with extra hands, a skeleton faceplate, and some other awesome items as well. It is the most detailed Scorpion action figure that you can get and it would be a true centerpiece of your collection.

Good To Know

  • Scale: 12 inches
  • Series: Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat
  • These larger action figures are truly a sight to behold and you do not get much more classic than Mortal Kombat 1 Scorpion!

McFarlane Toys Mortal Kombat 11 Bloody Spawn

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

Since the Mortal Kombat reboot, guest characters have been a big part of the Mortal Kombat games and that is why we have this amazing Spawn figure on our Mortal Kombat action figures list.

There are a few Spawn figures in this line, but we like this one best as he has blood splatter on him which makes it so much cooler! He also comes with his axe, which is covered in blood!

This is certainly one of the most eye-catching figures in the McFarlane line, it is also awesome as McFarlane actually created Spawn!

💡
The first guest character was Freddy Kruger back in Mortal Kombat 9, since then we have had the likes of Leatherface, Rambo, The Alien, and more!

Good To Know

  • Scale: 7 inch
  • Series: McFarlane Toys Mortal Kombat 11
  • There are other Spawn figures in this series, but only this one has blood splatter!

Diamon Select Mortal Kombat 11 Sub-Zero

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

We actually featured an awesome Diamond Select figure in our Miles Morales action figure guide and we wanted to feature them here too. You cannot have a list looking at Mortal Kombat action figures and not feature Sub-Zero!

Here he is in all his spine-ripping glory. This is based on his design from Mortal Kombat 11 and we love the ice effects that are on his hand and the base of this figure, granted it is walking the fine line of being a statue over an action figure, but we think this is so “cool” that we had to put it on this list.

Good To Know

  • Scale: 9 inches
  • Series: Diamon Select Mortal Kombat 11
  • Diamond Select makes some other awesome MK figures that would go great with this such as Scorpion and Raiden.

Funko Savage World Mortal Kombat X Raiden

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

We are huge fans of the Savage World series from Funko. These are Mortal Kombat action figures that are done in that short and wide 5-inch Master of the Universe style which is so iconic and awesome.

This is a series of figures, but we went for Raiden as his little lighting effects that are on his hands really do pop! We also have to give Funko a ton of credit for making the packaging so awesome making this a figure you may want to keep in the package.

💡
The Funko Savage World series also includes characters from Thundercats and various horror movie icons too!

Good To Know

  • Scale: 5 inches
  • Series: Funko Savage World Mortal Kombat X
  • The carding is awesome and very similar to the classic Masters of the Universe carding.

McFarlane Toys Mortal Kombat 11 Baraka

Check Price on Amazon

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

When he was introduced in Mortal Kombat II, Baraka became an instant fan favorite and he had such a cool and badass redesign in Mortal Kombat 11, we had to include this figure here.

The details on the sculpting here are some of the best that McFarlane has done with the MK line. Baraka comes with his blades, but the real icing on the cake here is the brain accessory which can be slid onto the blade which is fun and very fitting for Mortal Kombat!

Good To Know

  • Scale: 7 inches
  • Series: McFarlane Toys Mortal Kombat 11
  • There is a harder-to-find variant of this figure that has Baraka wearing a shirt similar to the one he wears in MKII.

Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat Kintaro

Check Price on Amazon

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

You could argue that Kintaro is one of the most imposing and impressive Mortal Kombat action figures ever made! The boss from MK2 is back in a design that makes him look more like he did in Mortal Kombat 9.

He can be posed in all kinds of action-packed poses and he comes with extra heads and hands so you can get him posed just the way you want. He even comes with two Sub-Zero iced arms so you can make it look like he has just ripped them off Sub-Zero!

Good To Know

  • Scale: 11 inches
  • Series: Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat
  • It is worth noting that Storm Collectibles also make some awesome Street Fighter figures so you could have a cool Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter display!

FAQs About Mortal Kombat Action Figures

Just like back in the day when fans would share tips on how to do the special and finishing moves in the local arcade, we are sharing with you guys a few tips and ideas to help you get the right figure for your collection.

McFarlane Toys or Storm Collectibles?

The two main people that make Mortal Kombat action figures are McFarlane Toys and Storm Collectibles and that is probably going to be where most people build their collections. They are both great, but for different reasons.

McFarlane Mortal Kombat action figures are much more affordable, while more action-figure-like Storm Collectibles on the other hand are a much more premium and higher-end product, but they have a much higher price tag to go along with the finer details.

Bring the Mortal Kombat arcade experience home

One cool thing about being a Mortal Kombat fan these days is that it is easier than ever to bring the arcade game home thanks to Arcade1Up. You can get an epic Arcade1Up Mortal Kombat II Head-To-Head Table that features the Mortal Kombat arcade games as well as some other Midway classics.

You can also get the more affordable and much less space demanding, Arcade1Up Mortal Kombat II Countercade which has three Mortal Kombat arcade games and can be sat on a table.

Finish Him! One Last Bit About MK Action Figures!

We truly do love Mortal Kombat here at Geek’s Oasis starting all the way back to the original and up to the most recent game Mortal Kombat 11. We love how far the Mortal Kombat action figure line has come.

There is so much choice out there when it comes to Mortal Kombat action figures that we truly believe that there is something for everyone.

No matter if you love the original series of games, the more recent selection, or even if you are into the movies, there is something for you to add to your collection.
