Thankfully we did not have to dig the old crystal ball out of the Geek’s Oasis cupboard to summon a spirit to jump online and find the best puzzle balls for us today. We had a good look and decided to go for a mixture of fun and challenging so that there would be something for everyone on this list.

How awesome is this KINGOU Wooden Puzzle Ball? The idea here is that you need to figure out what order to put the piece into.
It is the kind of thing that seems super easy, but this is one heck of a challenge. It is the kind of thing you could imagine Nathan Drake having to use before getting a piece of treasure!
A neat little bonus of this is that if you're lucky, you'll receive a selection of random metal puzzles for you to solve as well. They sometimes send them as gifts.

Wait, isn’t this a list about puzzle balls? Ok, so technically this Paladone Star Wars 3D Death Star Maze is not a “ball” but it is half of one, and the Death Star that this is based on is a ball so we did some mental mathematics to justify having this on our list!
Anyway, this is a ton of fun. The idea is that you need to guide the little ball all the way through the Death Star so that you can blow it up.
This is a lot of fun and you will be feeling like you are Luke in the classic Star Wars arcade game. Plus, this thing is fun to play with, but it would also look amazing on display with the rest of your Star Wars collection.

This YongnKids Amaze 3D Gravity Maze Ball Puzzle is available in a few colors, we have gone for the multicolor that has 156 obstacles. Pink is the easy level and then we have orange which is a medium-difficult.
No matter which one you go for the objective is the same, and it's going to be a fun challenge. You need to guide the little ball from the start of the maze all the way to the end, rotating the ball to move it!
This is very tricky and like a 3D version of solving a maze that was on a place mat at Mcdonald's back when they used to like kids to have fun!

We will admit that we were unsure of including this Coolplay 3D Crystal Soccer Puzzle Ball on our best puzzle balls list, but as we write this the World Cup is in full swing and it does look cool.
This is made up of 77 pieces and once you put them all together, you have this awesome-looking crystal soccer ball that sits on top of a stand.
It makes for a cool display piece and putting it together is like putting together a regular jigsaw puzzle but in 3D!

One of the more challenging puzzle balls that we have for you is this Meffert GEAR BALL. Do you know the classic Rubik’s Cube? Well, what we have here is a fun new take on that.
The idea is the same, make sure each part of the ball is the same color, however as this is a ball, it makes sliding each piece much tricker and it will really get your mind working overtime.
This is the kind of thing that is so addictive that you will get frustrated, slam it down like you are The Hulk, and then pick it straight back up to have another try.

Talk about a mind-blower! This Spin Master Games Perplexus Maze Game may look small, but inside this is 22 feet of track and over 120 obstacles that you need to move the little metal ball through to get to the end of the maze!
This is fun and one very challenging puzzle. It looks cool too and has a kind of Steam Punk vibe to it which many people in the Geek’s Oasis office thought was pretty neat.
You have to twist and turn the ball to get the ball to go where you want it to and let us tell you, this is easier said than done!

- With lots of tracks and over 100 obstacles, this will take you a long time to solve
- The whole design of thing this is very, very cool!
- The price is higher than in the previous ones, but it's top-notch quality and actually great value for money!
Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
We thought that we would bring this best puzzle balls list to a close with this very fun and challenging Ravensburger The Earth 3D Jigsaw Puzzle.
This is pretty much a standard jigsaw puzzle, but the twist here is instead of making a flat image, you are making a full globe!
It makes for a challenging jigsaw puzzle and while 540 may not sound like a lot of pieces, the ball shape of this makes it much trickier. It even comes with a stand and a spinner so it is a fully functioning globe once you are done.

Hey, do not laugh, this is a serious question. While some of these do look cool, if you want to display them (unless they come with a display base) you will need to think about how you will make them stand.
The last thing you want is a puzzle ball chasing you down the hallway as if you are Indiana Jones! Make sure it is sitting on a sturdy base to keep it in place. Some of them, like the Ravensburger The Earth, include a stand.
