Hasbro has done some amazing stuff with the Star Wars license and the Star Wars Black Series helmet collection is one of the best things they have done for people that want more than just another action figure.

Hey, do not get us wrong, as you saw from our Boba Fett action figure guide, we still love our Star Wars figures.

However, there is something just so cool about these Hasbro Star Wars collectible and wearable helmets that we feel any fan would love to have one of (if not a whole bunch of them!) in their Star Wars collection.

We've been working hard to find the coolest products for you that will make your life easier and more fun. Each product has been independently selected by our editors. Geek's Oasis may collect a share of sales from the links on this page if you decide to buy something - that's how we stay in business. Clicking the links will not add any cost to you. Hope you enjoy this post!

Putting On The Right Helmet

We do not want a situation like Cobb Vanth had when he wore Boba Fett’s armor without permission so we want to make sure that when you add the right Star Wars Black Series helmet to your collection!

💡
In The Mandalorian, Cobb Vanth would wear the classic Boba Fett helmet and gear to help keep his little town safe from bandits! There is actually a really cool Star Wars Black Series Cobb Vanth action figure that captures the likeness of the actor, Timothy Olyphant very well.

Hasbro has been pumping these things out like crazy so we had a tough time narrowing this list down, but we feel like we have some of the best Star Wars helmets for your consideration right here.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

We felt like we had to start with Boba Fett! This thing is awesome and this is designed based on the way the helmet looked in The Empire Strikes Back.

It features all the dings, dents, and blaster shots that his helmet has, making it look like a helmet that has seen some real action.

It has LED lights and the little scope can even flip down too which is perfect if you need to fire a rocket at any Jawa’s that are trying to steal your Star Wars collectibles!

Good To Know

  • Size: 10 x 10.5 x 11 inches
  • Weight: 2.2 pounds
  • This is perfect if you love the more battle-damaged look of Boba Fett’s helmet.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

You cannot have a list trying to find the best Star Wars Black Series helmet and not feature Darth Vader.

When we did our best Darth Vader puzzles guide, we were nearly Force choked by how awesome they were and this is even more awesome.

When you think of Darth Vader, it is his iconic helmet that comes to mind. This is actually comprised of three pieces and it goes together just like it does in the movies which is awesome!

💡
Say what you will about the prequels, but the scene of the helmet coming together and going onto Anakin’s head was amazing!

Good To Know

  • Size: 14.25 x 13.75 x 13.5 inches
  • Weight: 9.8 pounds
  • This is based on the way his helmet looked in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

Bo-Katan Kryze was such an awesome character in The Mandalorian and it is fantastic that Hasbro made her helmet as part of this collection.

What we love about this is that it has all the awesome deco that her helmet in the show had. It has a bit of a battle-damaged look about it too and it also has the little scope that can flip down and it lights up!

This is such a cool-looking helmet and one of the more eye-catching ones on this list.

Good To Know

  • Size: 12.52 x 11.26 x 10.98 inches
  • Weight: 2.66 pounds
  • Bo-Katan Kryze is one of the most badass ladies in the galaxy and her helmet is awesome!

Star Wars Black Series The Mandalorian Helmet

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

Some may be wondering why it took so long on our Star Wars Black Series helmet guide for The Mandalorian to appear!

Now, this is a truly epic helmet. This is not the battle-damaged and all-banged-up helmet that he has at the start of the series which was still pretty cool by the way.

This is his Beskar helmet and we just love how clean, shiny, and stylish this thing is. Mandalorian fans will no doubt love displaying (and wearing) this with pride.

Good To Know

  • Size: 11.81 x 10.63 x 11.02 inches
  • Weight: 3.72 pounds
  • We love how this captures the Beskar look of The Mandalorian armor.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

That is right, we love Boba Fett so much that we are giving him two spots on this list. While the first Star Wars Black Series Boba Fett helmet we looked at was the original look.

This one here is from The Mandalorian/The Book of Boba Fett where he has had it all cleaned up and given a new paint job.

This is such a cool look and for those that are all in on The Mandalorian, this is the version of Boba Fett’s helmet with realistic detail you need in your star wars fan's collection.

Good To Know

  • Size: 10 x 10.51 x 10.98 inches
  • Weight: 2.64 pounds
  • Like the other Boba Fett helmet, this one has adjustable scope and lights which make it even cooler.

Star Wars Black Series Luke Skywalker Battle Simulation Helmet

Check Price on Amazon

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

This is one of the most premium Star Wars black series helmets in the entire collection!

This looks just like the helmet Luke wore in the movies and they have gone above and beyond to make this as screen accurate as possible. Not only does this look cool on display.

You can put this on and with the press of a button, you can have it making sounds that are either from a battle above Yavin in an X-Wing or during the Battle of Hoth where Luke was in a Snow Speeder.

💡
Did you know that the Battle of Hoth is one of the most popular Star Wars movie scenes that has been reproduced in video games, dating all the way back to Atari’s 1985 Empire Strikes Back video game? However, it would not be until the 1996 release of Star Wars Shadows of the Empire, we would get to experience this in full 3D!

Good To Know

  • Size: 13.5 x 10.5 x 12 inches
  • Weight: 2.2 pounds
  • This may be one of the most expensive Star Wars helmets on our list, but we feel with the extra premium quality, the increased price is justifiable.

Star Wars Black Series Stormtrooper Helmets

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

We love the classic look of a Stormtrooper and that is captured perfectly right here. This is actually based on the look from Star Wars Rogue One which is neat.

This is one of the Star Wars Black Series helmets that has a voice changer so you can have fun telling your significant other that those are not the droids they are looking for!

A Scout trooper is one of the all-time classic Star Wars images and that makes this something that would be amazing in any Star Wars collection.

Good To Know

  • Size: 10.08 x 12.56 x 14.06 inches
  • Weight: 3.82 pounds
  • We love the voice changer that this has, it makes it fun to wear and also display.

Star Wars Black Series Clone Trooper Phase II Helmet

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

While nothing will ever top the classic Stormtrooper design, we know that there are many fans of the prequels and The Clone Wars that love the Clone Troopers!

That is why we wanted to include this on our list today. It has that iconic look to it and we are huge fans of the whole style of this helmet. We feel that this would make for a truly amazing piece in a Star Wars collection.

Plus, as it is not quite as iconic as the regular Stormtrooper helmet, it may actually make this stand out in your collection more.

Good To Know

  • Size: 13.37 x 11.25 x 14 inches
  • Weight: 3.71 pounds
  • While the Clone Troopers were in the prequels and The Clone Wars, the design of this helmet is more based on the Clone Wars animated series than the prequels.

FAQs About Star Wars The Black Series Helmets

If you have a few questions about finding or displaying your Star Wars Black Series Helmet, you have come to the right place here!

How can I display my helmet?

Many people do just sit their Star Wars Black Series helmet on a shelf or table and it looks awesome! However, you can also buy this Mythrojan Wooden Helmet Stand that is designed for displaying helmets of all styles and this would be a great way to display a Star Wars helmet if you do not want it just sitting on a shelf.

Some of these do come with a stand (Darth Vader for example) so be sure to check before buying a stand.

Can I actually wear my Star Wars helmet?

Yes, you can! While most people just want to have one of these as a display piece, these are also designed with being worn in mind. Some of them have flashing led lights and make sounds and the Luke Skywalker one we looked at even has speakers inside of it!

We would highly recommend that even if you are buying one of these as a display piece you at least put it on once and pretend to be Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, Darth Vader, or whoever, we promise we won’t tell anyone or judge, heck, call us over and we will dress up and play Star Wars galaxy with you!

Before You Lay Your Helmet To Rest, Read This

We thank you very much for trying to find the best Star Wars Black Series helmet with us today. To be honest with you, when it comes to picking one of these the best way to go about it if you ask us is to go for one of the characters you like the best.

That is a great way to start a collection of these. However, trust us when we tell you that you may start out with the mindset of “I will just get one to add to my Star Wars collection”

Do not be surprised if you then add a second, then a third, and are sitting on Darth Santa’s lap at the mall in December asking him to bring one to you for Christmas!
