We are looking at the best Star Wars Black Series Stormtrooper action figures today. Recently we looked at what we felt were the best Star Wars Black Series 6-inch action figures and we purposely did not put any kind of troopers on that list as we knew we were going to give them their own special list!
The Stormtroopers are some of the most iconic characters not just from the Star Wars saga, but from the history of cinema. Is there a person in the world that would not know what a Stormtrooper was or what movie franchise it was from if you showed them a picture of it?
Putting A Call Into The Empire To Make This List
We know that the title of this article is Star Wars Black Series Stormtrooper and we are mainly looking at Stormtrooper action figures. However, while we are going to have many Stormtrooper action figures on this list, we also wanted to include some other style troopers too as we feel this is the best place to showcase them.
Do not worry, we called Palpatine himself and he was ok about it. Well, we think he was... He trailed off and started rambling on about something being complete so we are assuming we can put any Troopers we want on this list and that is exactly what we are going to do!
Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
We felt that we had to start our Star Wars Black Series Stormtrooper list with a classic-looking Stormtrooper. This particular one is based on their look from The Mandalorian featuring premium detail, but that is about as classic as you can get when it comes to Stormtroopers.
This Star Wars Black Series Imperial Stormtrooper figure looks so authentic that you can almost hear it telling you that these are not the droids that it was looking for. This comes with a blaster and looks awesome when displayed holding it, even if we know these guys couldn’t hit the side of a barn!

As you know when we looked at the best Star Wars Retro Collection action figures, we love retro-style packaging and that is the first thing that is cool about this Star Wars Black Series Stormtrooper figure.
However, it is the fact that this Stormtrooper is George Lucas that makes this one such an awesome figure. We love how it looks on card as he has the helmet off so you can see that George Lucas head sculpt.
However, if you display this loose, he can wear the helmet or you can even have him holding it which is fun.

Next up we have what we feel is one of the more accessory-packed Star Wars Black Series Stormtrooper action figures. Rogue One had some awesome troopers in it and we love the way that the Jadha Patrol Stormtroopers have that orange shoulder protector thing, it really makes them stand out.
This figure comes with a rifle, a radio antenna, and a backpack so you can have a lot of fun displaying this in your collection.

While we love the classic-looking Stormtroopers that were in the original trilogy, here at Geek’s Oasis, we also love when they started putting different colors into the mix with the Stormtroopers.
We love the way the yellow goes with the white, but the most fun you can have with this Star Wars Black Series Stormtrooper is thanks to the cannon it has!
You can pose this on one knee as if it is loading the cannon ready to fire and that is pretty awesome!

This figure is taken from the awesome Star Wars The Force Unleased video games. He comes with a couple of blasters and he is one of the cooler-looking Star Wars Black Series Stormtrooper action figures you can get. He also looks great if you decide to keep him in the box.

This is part of the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi and features that iconic Kenner-style packaging. They have done a fantastic job here capturing the look of the Stormtrooper from that movie and it is so great, you may want to get two so you can keep one on card and open and display the other one!

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
The next Star Wars Black Series Stormtrooper action figure we are looking at is once again from the Gaming Greats series, this time Star Wars Battlefront II. We love the Arc Troopers, but the reason this one made the cut was that we feel the orange and black design makes this pop more than any of the others.
He comes with a couple of pistol blasters so you can have fun displaying this guy too. We just love the shade of orange they have used here - this trooper featuring premium deco really does make him a figure that catches your eye.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
We did a poll in the Geek’s Oasis office and it was “officially” announced that The Biker Scout is the coolest of all the Stormtrooper variations that Star Wars has to offer. This is part of the Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary line so it comes on that epic retro carding.
It has multiple points of articulation so you can pose him as if he is about to take a shot at Luke Skywalker as he is speeding past on his speeder bike if you want.
However, the carding on these is so great, we would wager most people will not be opening this up and those that do will probably end up buying two of them!

As we said in our Baby Yoda action figure guide, we are huge fans of The Mandalorian here at Geek’s Oasis. We love how Hasbro did a whole series of Black Series figures on retro-style carding for The Mandalorian and called them The Credit Collection.
With this, you get a highly detailed and very imposing-looking Imperial Death Trooper that features a fantastic paint job! However, you get a bit of extra value here as it comes with an Imperial Credit accessory that can come in handy if you are ever stuck somewhere in the galaxy and need to buy something!

One thing that we think is very cool is when you see someone’s Star Wars collection and they have an army of Stormtroopers! However, we do not feel that this is an essential thing to do.
We have a couple of people in the office that just have one Stormtrooper in their collection and that is all the Stormtrooper representation they need and that is fine.
How to display my Stormtrooper figures?
Stormtroopers look so cool, you can have a lot of fun displaying them. You can get one of the Luke Skywalker Black Series action figures we looked at and have him battling a couple. You can have one just standing looking imposing on its own.
You can have a couple of flanking Darth Vader! One of the best things about Star Wars Black Series Storm Trooper action figures is that you can get really creative with how you display them. Of course, you could even keep one mint on card as well!

Well, at least blasters, helmets, and other types of weapons. Star Wars devotees love these accessories because they add to the authenticity and playability factor of the Star Wars action figures.
