As one of the most iconic characters, not just superheroes of all time, Superman is one of the most well-recognized creations in history! We had fun with our Batman puzzles list and we felt that it was only right that The Man of Steel got that same attention as we try to find the best Superman puzzle.

If you are a fan of Superman, The Justice League, or just DC Comics in general, you will get a huge kick out of the picks that we have for you here today.

We've been working hard to find the coolest products for you that will make your life easier and more fun. Each product has been independently selected by our editors. Geek's Oasis may collect a share of sales from the links on this page if you decide to buy something - that's how we stay in business. Clicking the links will not add any cost to you. Did We Use Lex Corp Tech To Find These Puzzles

Come on, you know us better than that! We would never team up with that psycho Lex Luthor! We did this the right way, we called up Jimmy Olsen and got him to give us the scoop on what the best Superman puzzles are!

In all seriousness, we wanted to have a good mixture of puzzles on our list today. We made sure to have puzzles that just feature Superman, but we also have a few Justice League puzzles for your consideration as well.

One of the most interesting things about Jimmy Olsen is that in the TV series Smallville, he was played by actor, Aaron Ashmore. His twin brother, Shawn Ashmore would play Iceman Bobby Drake in the X-Men movies! One twin fights for DC and the other for Marvel!

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

We are massive fans of the amazing work of artist Thomas Kinkade and felt that we had to have at least one piece of work from here on our Superman puzzles list.

This one is called “The Trinity” because it features the three most iconic DC superheroes in Batman, Wonder Woman, and of course Superman, all standing heroic and ready for action! This is a puzzle that simply has to be framed once completed.

Thomas Kinkade is an incredible artist. While most people know him for his work with Disney, he also has done some amazing art featuring DC, Marvel, and Star Wars!

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

While this is only a 300-piece puzzle, we just loved this as soon as we saw it! We think that these 3D lenticular design puzzles are awesome. They kind of remind us of the special trading cards you would get back in the day.

This one features The Man of Steel being super heroic and strong lifting up a massive boulder. This is a great puzzle if you want a Superman puzzle, but are not quite ready to tackle a 1000-piece puzzle or above.

Remember back in the 80s and 90s when pretty much every license would have trading cards? It was always awesome when you got a special subset and there was a time when “3D” lenticular cards were all the rage.

Good To Know

  • Size: 18.11 x 12.2 inches
  • Recommended age: 6 years and up
  • This is part of a set of 3D lenticular puzzles that all feature Superman!

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

We are going for something a little different here, we have looked at 3D puzzles before, but this is a 4D puzzle! The 4D in this puzzle means that it has four dimensions - a jigsaw map, a topography map, 3D models, and 24 detailed replica locations.

With this, you get to build your very own Metropolis model, complete with iconic landmarks like The Daily Planet and the Lex Corp Tower. Around the edge of the model are a bunch of cool comic book style images of Superman being the heroic gentleman that he is.

Good To Know

  • Size: 30 x 16 x 2.5 inches
  • Recommended age: 8 years and up
  • Even though the price tag is higher than other puzzles, it's well worth it!
  • If you like to collect superhero models and figures, this would be a great addition to your collection, plus this is one heck of a challenge to put together.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

What an awesome image this one here is! This 1000-piece Superman puzzle is arguably the most action-packed of all the puzzles we have looked at today. We love how Superman is going up against some badass villains such as Brainiac, Cyborg Superman, Darkseid, and more.

However, what really caught our eye was the different locations on the puzzle. Most of it looks like it is going down at The Fortress of Solitude, but there is also Metropolis and Apokolips as well.

Good To Know

  • Size: 27 x 19.5 inches
  • Recommended age: 14 years and up
  • If you love Superman’s villains as much as the Man of Steel himself, this would be the perfect puzzle for you.

AQUARIUS DC Comics Justice League 1000 Pieces

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It

We thought we would end our Superman puzzle guide with an old-school-looking Justice League puzzle. We love the retro and classic design of Superman, Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, and Green Lantern.

This is a “slim” style jigsaw puzzle which gives it a very unique kind of style to it. With this being 1000 pieces, you may want to call in some of the smarter Justice League members like Cyborg to help you out.

In the UK, a company called Eaglemoss made a fantastic collection of the best DC graphic novels. When these were all lined up side by side, they actually made the same image that this puzzle makes! This is truly a very classic and well-known image of the Justice League which makes this puzzle even more awesome!

Good To Know

  • Size: 12 x 36 Inches
  • Recommended age: 14 years and up
  • You old-school Justice League fans are going to love putting this together and displaying it with your collection.

FAQs About Superman Jigsaw Puzzles

Look, we know that people like Brainiac, Zod, Mongul, and even Darkseid would love to get the scoop on Superman puzzles! However, we decided to help you guys out with a few things that we feel may be on your mind when it comes to picking the right Superman puzzle.

Should I go solo or team up?

At the end of the day, this is something that is up to you. If you are a huge Superman fan and just want Superman on your puzzle, go for him on his own.

However, if you are more of a DC Comics fan, but want some Superman representation in your collection. A puzzle based on the Justice League may fit in your collection better. Either way, you are in for one heck of a fun time putting the puzzle together.

Is it hard to frame a Superman puzzle?

Framing a Superman puzzle is way harder than framing say a Star Wars puzzle! We say that because the frame needs to be made from Kryptonite… ok so that is not true, and neither is us saying that it is hard.

Just make sure that you pick the right frame, we have looked at some great puzzle frames and puzzle accessories that will make framing your puzzle so much easier. We feel that a red or blue frame if you could find one would look really awesome.

What is the recommended age for these Superman puzzles?

We mostly focus on puzzles and games for grownups here at Geek's Oasis, but there are certainly some Superman puzzles that are perfect for kids too, for example, the 300-piece puzzle.

One Last Thing Before You Go Up, Up And Away!

We have loved looking at all these awesome Superman puzzles with you today. He truly is an American icon, no scratch that he is a worldwide icon (well maybe not his Red Son persona) that people love.

This is a reference to the epic Red Son story. Here, instead of landing in Smallville and being raised by The Kents, Kal-El lands in Russia where he is raised very differently and becomes the big Russian villain and Lex Luthor becomes the American hero!

He is a classic hero and one that has had a great deal of depth added to his character over the years. We love Superman here at Geek’s Oasis and we are sure that no matter what Superman puzzle you add to your collection, you will be very happy with it. This is especially true if you frame and display it!
