Before we start our search for the best Where’s Waldo puzzle we need to do a little history lesson. No, complaining, this is the fun kind of history, not like that boring stuff they taught you in school.
Anyway, while in the USA Where’s Waldo is the thing, this popular book series actually started life out in the UK as Where’s Wally and that is the original name. They felt Wally would not be as liked by Americans and that is the reason for the name change.
Wally must not be a popular name in other parts of the world too as this guy has more aliases than a mastermind criminal! We have looked at some cool puzzles here at Geek’s Oasis before, but there is something very retro-cool about our buddy Waldo that we felt he deserved a list all of his own.
Finding Waldo So He Could Make This List!
One of the things that surprised us when we started our search for Where’s Waldo puzzles were that there are not as many of these as you would think!
However, we still managed to come up with a great list and we picked which ones we felt were the most fun to put together and then also to try and find Waldo once you were done. However, in typical Geek’s Oasis fashion, we have a wildcard entry on our list for you too!

This is a really fun puzzle with a bunch of dinosaurs that all look like they are up to some shenanigans. It also looks like the whole three horns do not mix with long necks thing is in full effect here.
This puzzle is comprised of 1000 pieces so it is going to be very challenging to put together. It is also going to be challenging to actually find Waldo and save his butt from getting eaten!

Before we can find him and take him back (after a joy ride for ourselves in the DeLorean of course) we need to put all 1000 of these pieces in the right place.
This is one of the most fun Where’s Waldo puzzles on our list today and this old West town looks like there is some kind of Red Dead Redemption convention going on. Could you imagine a new Red Dead Redemption game with Waldo as the main guy?

The Death Star is packed with Star Wars characters, but your goal, once you have put all 1000 puzzle pieces into their rightful place of course, is to find the Wookie and make sure he is not getting fur in all the Death Star’s instruments - you cannot blow up Alderaan if there is hair in the fire button!
