We had a ton of fun with our Iron Man action figure guide we did recently and now it is time to look at Marvel’s favorite mutant, Wolverine. Who loves marvel comics and does not love Wolverine?
He truly is one of the biggest names in comic books and thanks to Hugh Jackman’s epic portrayal, you could argue that he is one of the biggest live marvel cinematic universe characters of all time too!
Pointin Our Claws At The Right Figures
When it comes to comic book character action figures, we would wager that Wolverine is right up there with the characters that have the most. This is especially true for Hasbro’s Marvel Legends line which has seen a ton of Wolverine figures.
We decided to base this Wolverine action figure guide around his Marvel Legends figures as there is a good mixture of comic book, movie, and animated versions of this iconic character.

With some of us in the Geek’s Oasis office being a bit on the, let us just say “mature” side, we are old enough to remember a time before Hasbro had the Marvel license. That is exactly what this figure is celebrating.
We had a similar figure in our Deadpool action figure guide! The idea here is that we have a modern Marvel Legends Wolverine figure in his classic comic book gear, but the carding is designed to look like it is straight out of the 90s and that is awesome!
This is such a fun series and it goes very well with the retro Star Wars Black Series figures that are on classic carding.

Next up we have an awesome Wolverine action figure! He is rocking his classic jeans and white vest look and he also comes with two heads. However, the best thing about this figure is that it comes with a motorbike accessory!
After Ghost Rider, Wolverine is arguably the most famous biker in the Marvel universe. We also love how the packaging has what looks like slash marks all over it.

With this, you get an Old Man Logan action figure. The sculpting here is fantastic and he comes with an extra head and an extra set of hands without his claws drawn.
This set also comes with “blind” Hawkeye, who has an extra head and two bows! This is such a cool set and it captures their look from the comic book near perfectly.

Why We At Geek’s Oasis Love It
Say what you will about X-Men Origins Wolverine, but Hugh Jackman was awesome in it! This Wolverine action figure is designed with premium detail after his look in that movie.
He is wearing his jeans and brown leather jacket and looks amazing! The head sculpt that is on the figure is ok, but it also included an alternate head which we love as it really does capture Hugh Jackman’s license really well.
Use the included alternate head to switch this Marvel Legends Wolverine figure's stoic masked expression for an unmasked berserker rage! This Wolverine figure also features claws inspired by the character's super-heated claws in the Marvel Comics Return of Wolverine storyline.
You also get an extra set of clawless hands, but who the heck wants to display Wolverine without his claws? Even if you are not a huge fan of this movie, this at the moment is the only way to get a Hugh Jackman that looks like this in Marvel Legends form.

We recently did a piece on Baby Yoda figures and we were very critical of Hasbro going to this plastic-free packaging since you cannot see what's inside. However, this epic Wolverine figure is the prime example of how you do plastic free packaging.
To start with, this figure is awesome and is based on the 90s X-Men The Animated Series, we love the bright and vibrant paint they have used to make it really pop. The packaging is designed to look like an old VHS tape box and that makes it just as much fun to display as the actual Wolverine action figure!

We are going back to the X-Men live-action movies for this one and it is an epic two-pack. You get an older, more grizzled Logan with this set. He comes with two sets of claw hands, one with adamantium claws and one with bone claws, and that alone is awesome.
He also has a head that captures Hugh Jackman’s license very well. The other figure in the set is a really cool Charles Xavier. He has a great Patrick Stewart likeness and he also has his iconic wheelchair too.
